Jon has served on the school board and helped revitalize interest in the local FFA chapter.

2. Gin - Smith Gin Co-Op

Cotton Gin North CarolinaLocated off of U.S. Highway 77 in Odem Texas, Smith Gin Co-Op is a 70,000 square foot cotton gin with the ability
to gin 55 to 60 bales per hour. Their V-shaped gin is the latest in ginning equipment and by ginning the cotton
faster, the gin minimizes the risk of losing crops. By doing this, that means more money in the hands of the local
ginners and the ability to produce a higher fiber quality for the customer.
Smith Gin Co-Op works across multiple counties in South Texas and gins cotton for several cotton familes. Working
with these farmers, Smith Gin Co-Op can track each bale of cotton they produce from field to the customer,
allowing you to know the producers name and farm for each purchase.

 8. Print & Dye - Graphic Cow Company

Made in the CaroliansThe Graphic Cow started providing college students t-shirts in 1994. Our commitment was simple, great art plus
a great tee equals a top notch shirt. We hired the best local artist to create original artwork and hired
experienced management in the printing side of the business. The first 3 years we focused on local markets,
Clemson and USC and then marketed towards other areas of the country.
Beginning in 1999, our company theme became “ art in 24 hours, shirts in five days.” At the time, it seemed
impossible. Today, it’s business as usual. Our focus is to continue to change the way you buy t-shirts. We’re
adding new features and new services to create the best possible customer experience.
